In the past two weeks, one of our servers was infiltrated by a virus (malware) that causes problems with PHP files. You may wonder: how did this happen? There are two reasons it happened:

1. The virus was new and our scanners did not pick it up and
2. Some clients have very simple passwords for their FTP and control panel accounts.

Please make sure you use a complex password and change it every 60 to 90 days.

As many of you know, we’ve invested a lot into the new servers, back-up systems, and support. What you may not know is that RegisterPol has new owners. We are based in the US and host hundreds of other sites.
