On-demand streaming is meant to deliver streaming media to the user at their leisure. Content streams upon request and is able to be repeatedly accessed. This service is meant for delivering static and archived content. Users experience the content from the beginning of the presentation, they can fast forward and rewind as needed. An always-on Internet connection is not required.

Pricing is based on how many concurrent listeners you wish to support, and the bitrate the stream is streamed at. For a definition of concurrent listeners click here. There is no setup fee, You only pay a flat fee based on your user limit. There are no hidden costs. We do not charge for bandwidth.

Decide how many users you would like to stream to at the same time, and then choose the bitrate your streams require.

These are our recommended audio bitrates.

$2/concurrent users/month up to 56kbps
$3/concurrent users/month up to 80kbps

50 MB = $10/month
100 MB = $15/month

Add them together to get your fee.

You get an FTP account for uploading your content. The media is encoded at the bitrate and quality settings you desire to be delivered. Once uploaded, you can access your content through the streaming server. We help you integrate the link into your existing web site, or let us set up a web presence for you.

Accounts include a multi-homed managed streaming server redundantly connected to the Internet backbone directly via multiple tier-1 level providers. We offer multiple POP's in Chicago and San Francisco for global distribution.

We will walk you through the initial setup. No prior streaming experience is necessary. All of the software to encode your content is free. You will set up your encoder to send the source signal to our network. We will give you the link to access your stream through the streaming server for placement on any web site.

Support is offered by phone and email. You are assigned a live technician to work with throughout the lifetime of your service with RadioPol, and are encouraged to contact us as often as needed.
